Munster campus – mechanical stream: Have you got a keen eye for drafting and design? Make your mark in mechanics and machines and gain job-ready skills to be an engineering technician or draftspersons. You’ll learn from our team of expert lecturers in real-world training facilities at the Munster campus, featuring mechatronics labs and technical engineering workshop rooms.

 

Carlisle campus - HVAC streamReady for a career in engineering - heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC). HVAC is an essential industry that cool/heat the built environments such as offices, schools, cars, homes, hospitals, shopping centres and restaurants. You will gain skills and knowledge in computer -controlled HVAC systems, AutoCad, Revit, SolidWorks, Trane Trace 700, thermodynamics, psychometric processes, energy management and engineering drawings and prepare for roles such as Mechanical Design Engineer or HVAC Engineering Associate, Mechanical Estimator, Mechanical equipment Sales Representative, Mechanical Engineering & HVAC Draftsperson/Technician. 
  

Study in specialist facilities

Students study for this diploma at our state-of-the-art Applied Engineering building at the Munster campus. In our courses, you'll have access to modern equipment such as 3D printers, laser cutters, water treatment plants, and civil engineering compression labs to name just a few.

Defence Industry Internship and Graduate Scholarship Program

If you are studying a Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Aviation, Cyber Security, Engineering, IT, Logistics, or Project Management then you are eligible to apply.

The Defence Industry Internship and Graduate Scholarship Program (DIIGS), funded by the State Government, has various grants (starting at $2,500) and work placement opportunities that could set you up for a career in the defence industry. Read more about DIIGS and how to apply.
